Maebeth Fenton Martin MBE was born in Northern Ireland, educated at Trinity College Dublin and worked for 35 years in Manhattan.

Maebeth has served a worldwide roster of clients. She specialises in promoting the Arts and tourism (often using golf as an effective tool). Maebeth was awarded an MBE from Queen Elizabeth II in the 1998 New Years Honours List for her services in the US for tourism to Northern Ireland.


Golf Promotion

Organised & escorted a host of stars from Hollywood screen, entertainment & sport celebrities & US golf media for the 2012 Irish Open Pro Am at Royal Portrush for TOURISM NI.

Organised annual media event at THE MASTERS, Augusta, Georgia for Northern Ireland Tourist Board (now TOURISM NI) in conjunction with TOURISM IRELAND & officers of The GWAA (GolfWriters Association of America). All golf-related public relations for seven years in North America for VISIT WALES in that country’s lead up to its role as the Host Nation for The 2010 Ryder Cup.

During the 2010 International Network of Golf (ING) Industry Honors Awards at the PGA Golf Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida VISIT WALES was awarded the Public Relations/Promotions award for its Ryder Cup Promotions (shortlisted in a category alongside international brands such as Adidas Golf for their “Wear In The World” campaign and Golfsmith for their “Win With Phil Mickelson” campaign). Roger Pride, Director of Marketing for VISIT WALES and Maebeth Fenton US Golf PR Consultant picked up the award.

10 years of assistance to VISIT BRITAIN. Maebeth’s role was as Assistant Producer/Writer for the tourism segments in the ABC/ESPN TV coverage of the Open & the Senior Open Golf Championships in the UK.


Arts & Tourism Promotion

Company principal, Maebeth Fenton Martin understands the PR needs from the client side particularly well thanks to her earlier roles as Acting Director for the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (now TOURISM NI) in North America, as US Media Relations Executive, British Tourist Authority in USA (now VISIT BRITAIN) and PR Director, KEITH PROWSE INTERNATIONAL (theatre, sport & travel).

Maebeth has also contributed leadership to the PR industry in her past role as Chair of the North American Airlines Public Relations Association (NAAPRA) and Board Member Causeway Coast and Glens Tourism Partnership. She is now a lifetime member of the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA). Board Member of the American Friends of the Lyric Theatre & helped with the US promotion of the Seamus Heaney HomePlace.

ARDTARA Country House

Additionally over twenty years Maebeth simultaneously acquired “ARDTARA” an historic Manor House (derelict for 15 years) restored and marketed it - now a 9 bedroom multi award-winning Country House Hotel in Northern Ireland.
