Testimonials

“ I have known Maebeth professionally and personally for many years. Her sincerity, humanity and gentleness are immediate and touching. Her passion for Ireland and genuine Irishness is vital and refreshing, and indeed when I am in her company I do get more than a little homesick. She has sold NI very successfully and during trying and difficult times.

She has always been helpful to the Arts in NI including the Lyric Theatre and the Belfast International Arts Festival and was the lead escort for North American media to attend performances each year. As Patron of the Lyric Theatre Belfast, I have seen the effectiveness of her work to help raise awareness/support of the Lyric in the US. She has asked me for help on a few occasions. Maebeth is also a Board Member of the American Friends of the Lyric.”

— Liam Neeson OBE; UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador

"Maebeth has a genius for recognizing the makings of a good story and the reputation for honesty and integrity that makes editors and producers know they should tell that story."

— Walter Cronkite, American Broadcaster CBS TV -  “the most trusted man in America”

"Maebeth can combine the delights of homespun humorous common sense with an iron will to make sure that things are done properly, not only to the client's satisfaction but totally to hers. It's a gift given to very few."

-— Peter Alliss, BBC TV: ABC/ESPN Sports

“I've worked with Maebeth on a wide variety of editorial projects since 1997 -- from golf in Wales and Northern Ireland to reindeer driving in Finland -- and have always been impressed by her organizational skills, her seemingly bottomless reservoir of professional contacts, and her marketing savvy. I look forward to continuing our successful relationship”.

— Eamon Lynch, GOLF CHANNEL & GOLFWEEK

As the executive producer of “Home Away From Home: The Yanks in Ireland” , Maebeth brought her unique combination of creative and organizing skills to the project. She reached out to both Walter Cronkite and Phil Coulter who agreed to participate in the program because of their great respect for Maebeth and her work in Northern  Ireland. One of a kind!”

 Mary Pat Kelly, Producer, Director

I’ve never known anyone as well connected as Maebeth. From New York to Augusta to Finland, and all of Ireland from Portrush to Cork. Maebeth does not play golf but she’s a par-breaker in personal and media relations. Her press trips are legendary. I even played a course that was partly in Finland and partly in Sweden and one on the Arctic Circle. She reminds me of the line from “The Music Man” about having to know the territory. No one knows the territory and the people better than Maebeth”.

 — Jack Berry, Past President GOLF WRITERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA

I have known Maebeth for many years during 8 of which, 1988-96, I was chairman of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board. Maebeth was head of NITB press and public relations and for a time head of bureau in New York. It was a difficult time for tourism in Northern Ireland as we aimed to develop a modern infrastructure and credibility in the market place. We succeeded in trebling the number of “pure holiday visitors”, with North America becoming our most successful market. Maebeth can take the credit for much of this achievement. As a consultant she also acted for other departments of the Northern Ireland Government, in helping to bridge the political divide and in forging closer relations with the Irish Tourist Board and the joint market development of Ireland as a single holiday destination. Maebeth is one of nature’s diplomats.
